Count ilmember moved for its adoption: introduced the follow~ng reso~.u~.zuu RESOLUTION ~S7- RESOLUTION APPROVING FINAL PAY FOR ELK RIVER LANDFILL (CLASS 5 CI~VEL PA3~iING LOT & DRIVE FOR CENTRAL PARK) WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey approved this project on October 27, 1987; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Ramsey passed a motion authorizing staff to obtain bids and make awards to the lowest bidder for class 5 gravel parking lot and drive for Central Park as outlined in Merland Otto's memo dated October 27, 1987; and WHEREAS, Elk River Landfill was the lowest responsible bidder for class 5 gravel parking lot and drive for Central Park; and WHEREAS, City Engineer, Pete Rsatikka of I~akanson Anderson, Inc. recommended final payment to Elk River Landfill in the amount of $4,903.92. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNI"f, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes final payment to Elk River Landfill for class 5 gravel parking lot and drive for Central Park in the amount of $4,903 .92. 2) That the City Council hereby authorizes the Mayor or City Administrator to sign the release form for this final payment. 3) That the total amount of this final payment is · not included in Resolution ~87-___ approving payment of the bills for the month of December, 1987. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department be provided a signed copy of this resolution.
