Chemical edging and detsiling operstions ~hall be completed once every_ ~ two <br />months during tl,e ~?oving ~easen. <br /> <br />Weed Control and Lemoval: <br />All grass-like type weeds, vine-weed types, ragweed, or other underground <br />~preading weeds and dandelions, thi~tles, and sand burrs shall be kept under <br />strict control. <br /> <br />Remove all weed~ and grass from the following areas: roadways, driv.eways, <br />parking lots, patios, drainage areas, slopes, hillsides, and expansion joints <br />in all hard ~urface area~. <br /> <br />Remove all weed~, mechanically, from shrub beds, flover beds, planters, and <br />other cultivated areas. <br /> <br />Weeds treated with a c~ntact weed chemical shall be lefn in place for a <br />minimum of ~even days. If kill is not complete, additional application(s) <br />~hall be r. ade at no additioal cost to the City, until target species are <br />cl imina ted. <br /> <br />Weeds treated using a systemic chemical shall be left in place per <br />manufacturer's recommendation.
