IL INPUT <br /> <br />a) Review of }lam Lake resolution regarding liability for land use <br /> regulations - <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox stated that there is a SuFzeme Court rulin~ that states <br />agencies are liable for imposing land use regulations that Frohibit maximum <br />use of property. Counci!member Cox stated that ~am Lake has adopted a <br />resolution requesting legislation that would indemnify local units of <br />government from the liability that might occur as a result of land use <br />regulations imposed by higher agencies. Councilmember Cox stated that Ham <br />Lake is requesting Ramsey's support of the resolution. <br /> <br />Motion by ~Leyor Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Cox d~r~:cting the <br />City Attorney to review Ham Lake's resolution regarding indemnification <br />from liability and r epor t back t o Council . <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sortebezg, Cox, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />b) Schedule a meeting to discuss 1988 budget - <br /> <br />Finance Officer stated that the city is about 2 to 2-1/2 weeks behind the <br />budget schedule; at the very latest, the budget should be ado~ted in <br />December o <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley requested that Council review the list he prepared regarding <br />services being provided in Ramsey and be prepared to discuss it at the next <br />budget meeting, <br /> <br />Refer te "Adjournment" for furnher discussion. <br /> <br />Motion by ~ ~ .......... ..... ;~-~-~er Cox and s=ccnded~ by.
