TO: <br /> <br />RAMSEY ZONING COh~ISSION <br /> <br />October 27, 19~ ~ 9 1.qg7 <br /> <br />Subject: <br /> <br /> Anfd ............ <br />Amendment to Chapter ~10 of the Ramsey City Code, which <br />chapter is known as the "Health Safety and Welfare Chapter." <br /> <br />After reviewing the proposed ordinance, I have a few concerns: <br /> <br />The term ENCLOSURE - If this i.~ an electrical fence what happens <br />with a power outag.e? <br /> <br />With winter snow build up the ENCLOSURE should have a top or <br />cover which would keep the animal(s)~ from going over the sides. <br /> <br />The lot size determined should be large enough to take into <br />consideration the needs of the largest animal(s). <br /> <br />LIABILITY INSURANCE - prior to issuance of a license the applicant <br />should have proof of liability coverage should the animal(s) get <br />loose and cause property or bodily damage. <br /> <br />I want to make myself clear to the members of the zoning commission, <br />my greatest concern is the safety of my family, myself and the other <br />Ramsey residents should a wild animal, domesticated or not, get loose. <br /> <br />An animal of a given species may never harm a human being yet another <br />of the same species may..
