The Economic Development Company is <br />requesting that Council adopt a resolution expanding the degree of <br />confidentiality allowed by State statutes at this point. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to <br />adopt Resolution ~87-170 requesting the State of Minnesota to classify <br />application information for the revolving loan fund as confidential. <br />(Refer to resolution file for Resolution #87-170). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Status Report On Litigation: <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich referred-to the lawsuit of Ms. Marilyn Gal lagher vs. former <br />councilmember, Sue Van Wagner, regarding a former Ramsey Resident <br />Newsletter and stated that Ms. Gallagher is claiming civil rights <br />violation. <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich referred to the lawsuit of Valley Paving vs. North Fork, Inc., <br />in which the City was named, and stated that the case has been resolved. <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich stated that the City will have to prosecute tickets issued at <br />the weigh station. <br /> <br />Case #20 ,A; LO~ Relea,~ Fro~ Flip,wood Hill~ II Additfon: <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich stated that the 1985 development agreement for Flintwood II <br />guarantees construction of improvements and payment of assessments; <br />construction has been completed and the City needs to release two lots from <br />the development agreement. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Pearson <br />authorizing the Mayor and City Administrator to sign lot releases for Lots <br />17 and 20 of Block 4, Flintwood Hills II Addition. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #21: Receive Petition For Sewer And Water Improvements In Oakrid~e <br /> Industrial Park: <br /> <br />Motion by~Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to <br />adopt Resolution #87-171 declaring adequacy of petition and'ordering <br />preparation of report for Oakridge Industrial Park.
