PROCEEDINGS OF CITY COUNCIL <br /> PUBLIC HEARING <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a public hearing on Tuesday, August I1, <br />1987 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, <br />Minnesota regarding uses of Federal Revenue Sharing funds. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Arnie Cox <br />Councilmember A1 Sorteberg <br />Councilmember A1 Pearson <br />Councilmember Steve DeLuca <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator David Hartley <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />Finance Officer Noel Graczyk <br /> <br />Members Absent: Mayor Gary Reimann <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />A~ting Mayor Cox called the public hearing to order at 8:10 p.m. <br /> <br />STAFF PRESENTATION <br /> <br />Finance Officer Noel Graczyk stated that the Federal Revenue Sharing <br />program will no longer be continued; any funds not appropriated by <br />September 30, 1987 must be returned. Ramsey has a $21,000-$22,000 revenue <br />surplus available. Council should at this time receive public comments <br />regarding the use of those funds. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />There was no citizen input. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to <br />adjourn the public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Acting Mayor Cox, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />Pearson and DeLuca. Voting No: None.
