Mayor/Council Input: Item (a) Discussion regarding appointments to Landfill Commission. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Acting Mayor Cox, Councilmembers Sorteberg, DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None. Absent: Mayor Reimann. PUBLIC HEARINGS The special meeting adjourned at 8:05 p.m. in order to conduct the following public hearings: 1. Consider modification of Development District No. 1 and establishment of Tax Increment Financing District No. 4. 2. Consider uses of Federal Revenue Sharing Funds. Acting Mayor Cox called the special meeting back to order at 8:13 p.m. COUNCIL BUSINESS CONTINUED Case #2: Adopt Resolution Modifying Development District No. 1 And Establishing Tax Increment Financing_ District No. 4: Motion by Councilmember Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to adopt Resolution #87-175 amending Development District No. 1 and establishing Tax Increment Financing District No. 4. (Please refer to resolution file for Resolution #87-175). Further Discussion: Councilmember Pearson inquired as to the amount of area included in Development District No. 1. Mr. Rartley replied that it will include all properties that will be served by the MSA frontage road; it does not include the residential district along the river. Motion carried.
