PROCEEDINGS OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />AN OKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a special meeting on Wednesday, August <br />19, 1987 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br />Members Present: Mayor Gary Reimann <br />Councilmember Steve DeLuca <br />Councilmember Al Sorteberg <br />Councilmember Al Pearson <br />Councilmember Arnie Cox <br />Also Present: City Administrator David Hartley <br />City Engineer Peter Raatikka <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Reimann called the special Council meeting to order at 7:34 p.m. and <br />led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br />Ragna Pearson ` 8846 Hwy. #10 NW — Stated she objects to the closing of the <br />Puma railroad crossing. <br />Mayor Reimann informed Ragna Pearson that her comments should be made <br />during the public hearing on the same subject. <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to <br />approve the agenda as submitted. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />D e L u c a a n d P e a r s o n. V o t i n g N o: N o n e. <br />PUBLIC 'HEARING <br />Mayor Reimann adjourned the special Council meeting at 7:36 in order to <br />conduct the following public bearing: <br />1) Consider closing Puma Street NW railroad crossing. <br />Mayor Reimann called the special Council meeting back to order at 9:08 p.m. <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS <br />City Council/August 19, 1987 <br />Page 2 of 8 <br />
