Absentee voting for the Primary Election continues through 5:00 p.m., Monday, August 8. Absentee Direct Balloting (a new option this year) started Tuesday, August 2, (7 days in advance of the Primary) which allows the in-person absentee voter to insert their ballot directly into the ballot counter. City Hall will be open Saturday, August 6, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for in-person absentee voting as well as until 5:00 on Monday. Primary Election. The Primary Election is Tuesday, August 9. All of Ramsey's polling locations will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The new Fire Station No. 2 will be used as a polling location for the first time, replacing old Fire Station No. 2. Postcards were mailed to all the registered voters in Ward 4 Precinct 1, informing them of that change. Ramsey Parks & Recreation along with the Rumriver Art Center present: Art in the Park. Ramsey Parks & Recreation along with the Rumriver Art Center are excited to host the first Art in the Park Weekly Class at The Draw tonight, Thursday, Aug. 4! In this 60 minute classes, recommended for kids ages 5-15, Rumriver Art Center instructors will teach students how to use watercolor pencils on a canvas panel. Each week will feature a different project, in different mediums. All materials needed for the project will be supplied at the park. Classes will take place Thursdays from 5:00 - 6:15 pm at The Draw- 7401 Ramsey Parkway. These classes are offered for FREE to the first 36 registrants!
