Extension of the Ramsey US Trunk Highway 10 Improvement Development Plan January, 2016 This proposed extension is intended to capitalize on the work begun under the July, 2015 phase of the city's US Trunk Highway 10 Improvement Development Plan and implement the strategies adopted in that plan. It will continue the pursuit of federal, state, regional, county, and MnDOT funding opportunities necessary to construct additional improvements on US TH 10 within the City of Ramsey and will operate under the performance and reporting requirements established in the July, 2015 plan. Work elements of this extension will include a continuation of those identified in the July, 2015 plan with special emphasis on the following; • Secure $10 million in state funding to construct additional US TH 10 rail/highway improvements within the City of Ramsey. • Facilitate and coordinate submittal of federal transportation grant applications appropriate to US TH 10 improvements within the City of Ramsey. • Facilitate and coordinate the planning and implementation of a Summit meeting of communities and elected officials along the US TH 10 corridor. • Follow-up work with the City's congressional delegation in support of federal funding requests. • Coordinate introduction and consideration of City's 2016 legislative proposals related to US TH 10 funding. • Identify, recommend, and coordinate as directed, pursuit of additional opportunities for MnDOT grant funding applicable to US TH 10 improvements. • Work effectively with Anoka County officials to promote and coordinate local, state, and federal advancement of the Highway 10 proj ects • It is agreed and understood that The Tinklenberg Group will not, in any fashion, represent any other Anoka County municipality as a lobbyist for transportation improvements, during the term of this contract.
