COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> 7.01: Consider Approving Contract Extension for Prosecution Services with the Firm of <br /> Randall, Goodrich and Haag, P.L.C.with an Expiration of June 30, 2017 <br /> Police Chief Katers reviewed the staff report and recommendation to continue criminal <br /> prosecution services with the firm of Randall, Goodrich and Haag, P.L.C., approving a one-year <br /> extension of the contract with a proposed contract expiration of June 30, 2017. <br /> Councilmember Kuzma stated that this was discussed in the worksession earlier tonight. <br /> Motion by Councilmember Kuzma, seconded by Councilmember LeTourneau, to approve <br /> contract extension for prosecution services with the firm of Randall, Goodrich and Haag, P.L.C. <br /> with an expiration of June 30, 2017 with the caveat that the City go out for RFP at that time. <br /> Further discussion: Councilmember LeTourneau stated that it makes sense to hold this until the <br /> next year and asked for input on the level of service and pricing. Police Chief Katers stated that <br /> the police department is the primary user of the prosecution services and they are satisfied with <br /> the services and rate.
