Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Strommen, Councilmembers LeTourneau, Johns, Kuzma, Riley, Shryock, and Williams. Voting No: None. 8. MAYOR, COUNCIL AND STAFF INPUT City Engineer Westby provided a brief update on the Andrie Street construction project. He noted that the large amount of rain received on Saturday did have an impact on the construction process. He stated that within an hour they notified the contractor who was then onsite to remove the standing water. He stated that although the road was probably impassable for a few hours there was a quick response time. He stated that curb was poured on the first phase of the project today and noted that the driveway aprons and catch basins would be poured the following day. He stated that the project is moving along well and noted that the project is on schedule to move on to the next segment of the project in the next few weeks. He noted that residents can request notification updates on the homepage of the City website. Councilmember Kuzma asked if there are any updates on the train whistles. City Engineer Westby provided an update on the whistle free zones and anticipated that Jarvis could become a quiet zone later this year. City Administrator Ulrich announced upcoming meetings and events. Councilmember Riley announced that the following day is his wedding anniversary and wished his wife a happy anniversary. Mayor Strommen stated that the League of Minnesota Cities is recognizing Senator Jim Abeler as a Legislator of Distinction. She stated that the City of Ramsey is excited that the League recognized the qualities that the City has recognized. 9. ADJOURNMENT Motion by Councilmember Kuzma, seconded by Councilmember Johns, to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried.
