5.02: Discuss Potential Work Plan Items and Needs for Annual Planning Commission
Report
Presentation
Community Development Director Gladhill presented the staff report stating the purpose of this
case was to introduce a discussion about the possibility of creating an annual Work Plan for policy
topics for the Planning Commission. No work plan has been drafted at this point. The intent of
this case is to review topics previously raised by the Planning Commission and brainstorm
additional topics to review. Staff requested comment from the Planning Commission on the work
plan for 2016.
Commission Business
Chairperson Levine supported the plan as proposed by staff.
Commissioner Andrusko discussed the value of having a documented work plan as a goal setting
tool for the group.
Commissioner VanScoy asked if any other commissions or committees had a yearly work plan.
Community Development Director Gladhill explained the Environmental Policy Board and the
Economic Development Authority completed annual work plans.
Planning Commission/December 3, 2015
