December 9, 1987 <br /> <br />TO: John Lichter, Chairman <br /> Ramsey Park and Recreation Commission <br /> <br />FROM: Anne Norris, Community Development Director <br /> <br />RE: 1988 Park Budget <br /> <br />As you requested, enclosed is the proposed 1988 Park budget. The <br />1988 Requested column represents what I submitted to the Finance <br />Officer based on recommendations from the Park and Recreation <br />Commission. The 1988 Proposed column represents what was <br />submitted to the Council by the Finance Officer. This budget <br />includes funds to retain Mr. Merland Otto of Makanson Anderson <br />Associates to assist with park planning. <br /> <br />The City Council has scheduled adoption of the 1988 budget for <br />its December 22, 1987 meeting. <br /> <br />In addition, the City Council has approved the following: <br /> <br />1. Purchase of a temporary warming house; <br />2. Increase in pay for skating rink manager position to <br /> $5.50 per hour and increase in pay for skating rink <br /> supervisor position $5.00 per hour; <br />3. Preparation of plans and specifications for a <br /> recreational facility at Central Park and allocation of <br /> $85,000 for such a facility; and <br />4. Adopted a capital improvement schedule for facilities at <br /> Central and Titterud Parks. <br /> <br /> <br />
