Comr£ssioner Prmi! indicated she had discussed having a desi~ated cu_~u_'ew with <br />Mike Auspos. MAke Auspos said the parks are open from 5:00 a.a. to lO:0O p.m., <br />and a permit must be obtained for groups of 10 or more or for after hours use. <br />There is a city wide cu_-few at age t4. Auspos would llke the citizens of <br />Ramsey to r~uest a c'~rf, ew if they want it. He will get copies of the city and <br />park ordinance for the next meeting. <br /> <br />CASE 7: Uodate on Central Park imorovements. <br /> <br />Merland Otto gave an update on Central Park improvements. The hockey rink is <br />under construction but may not be painted until next year. The well will be put <br />in the week of November 16, They have applied with Anoka Electric CoOp and <br />cable will be )~%c~ and light fixtures installed the week of December 7. <br /> <br />Two quotes ,have been received for a warming house.. The units are leased and <br />the ones from Gelco are in better condition. A trailer will be pulled in, <br />set in a trench, and electz~cal hooked up, The 4 month lease will begin <br />November 18. They will have to provide matting to cover the floor. They <br />will have a i2'x~6' trailer, either wide open or with an office at each end. <br />RYAA could use an office for concessions if the~ is water hookup. Commissioner <br />Shumway c~n arrange for donated labor to hook up water° Claudia Dodge said <br />an office was needed for the telephone. The cost is $2,000 to lease a trailer <br />and $~,000 to buy it. A trailer with two offices is preferred. Equipment could <br />be stored in the tz~iler, and during.the summer could be used at the arena. <br />Motion by Co~Assioner Shumway to go back to the City Council and ask approval <br /> · '~ which could then be portable and used for parks, <br />to purchase a ~ra~_er, <br />seconded, by Com~dssionerPr_all. Motion carried.
