L ri <br /> <br />PROCEEDINGS OF CITY COUNCIL <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The RamSey City Council conducted a special meeting on Monday, November 23, <br />1987 at the P, amsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members present: <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />Mayor Gary Reimann <br />Councilmember A1 Pearson <br />Councilmember A1 Sorteberg <br />Councilmember Steve DeLuca <br /> <br />City Administrator David Rartley <br />Finance Officer Noel Graczyk <br /> <br />Councilmember Arnie Cox <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann called the special City Council meeting to order at 6:07 pom. <br />and led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to <br />approve the agenda. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimanu, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Cox. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BUS,~E$S <br /> <br />~ Receipt Of Petition Reoue$:in~ That Ordinance ~87-7 Be <br /> Submitted To A Refere~dpp Vote: <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley stated that he received a.petition on November 12, !987 from <br />circulators Barb Graeu, Mary Jo Sentyrz, Lori Molitor, Cheryl 0srund and <br />Kamona 0'Donneli requesting Ordinance ~$7-7 establishing airport safety <br />zoning be submitted to a referendum vote. <br /> <br />M~. Hartley stated that the procedure is that upon receiving the petition <br />fcra referendum, the city administrator has ten days to evaluate it and <br />report to council. Council declares the sufficiency or insufficiency of <br />the petition by resolution and the city administrator has 5 days to report <br />the insufficiencies to the individuals circulating the petition.
