Fifteen years ago, we decided to establish statistical <br />measures to determine trend lines over the years to set <br />community need priorities. <br /> <br />The attached report is our latest effort to do that. It is <br />based on a public opinion poll, a survey of government, civic <br />and business leaders and data gathered from numerous public <br />agencies. The information was obtained in 1986. <br /> <br />Our purpose is to provide the community with information that <br />will stimulate discussion, action and improvements in the <br />quality of life we all share. This condensed version of the <br />report highlights the major findings.
