Use of Central Park fields is currently on a first con-me, first served basis. <br />Commission agreed that someone needs to do scheduling for the fields, and <br />possibly the City should have a sign-up sheet at the receptionist desk at <br />City Hall. Users would be reponsible for cleaning up after their event. One <br />field could be kept open for miscellaneous use. <br /> <br />Funds received at tile concession stand are for the group operating the stand. <br /> <br />CASE 4: Discussion regarding acquisition/easements for future trails. <br /> <br />Discussion tabled. <br /> <br />CASE 5: F,'.eview proposed planned unit development for park dedication <br />requirements; case of Mr. Gilbert Menkveld. <br /> <br />Motion by Comrnisison Rustad, seconded by Commissioner Johnson, to <br />recommend that tile City Council require a fee to satisfy the City's park <br />dedication requirements, and that the fee be designated for use at Petzer <br />Park. Motion carried. <br /> <br />CASE 6: Review proposed subdivision for park dedication requirements; case <br />of Ms. Kathy Tranby. <br /> <br />Case withdrawn. <br /> <br />CASE 7: Discussion regarding Comprehensive Park and Open Space Plan. <br /> <br />Anne Norris suggested this would be more appropriate for the subcommittee <br />to work on. Parks will be looked at by the Commissioners and Anne Norris <br />will provide everyone on the Park Board with a list of parks they are to visit <br />and draw up preliminary plans for and they will be given a checklist to work <br />from. <br /> <br />CASE 8: Information Items. <br /> <br />Results of the Lawcon application will be available in August. The City <br />would have to match or provide additional funds. <br /> <br />CASE9: Discussion regarding vacancy on commission. <br /> <br />Margaret Beissel and Jill Prall have applied for- the vacant position on the <br />Park Board. Appointrnents will be scheduled for each applicant at the June <br />Park Board meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />
