I <br />reviewed Mr. Obernolte's calculations for stormwater runoff within the <br />diked area and concluded that the site grading would totally contain <br />the 100-year rainfall runoff event within the berm. Therefore I have <br />no further concern over the stormwater aspect of the project. <br /> <br />We also discussed the plantings proposed for the bermed areas along <br />the east side of the project adjoining protected wetland 2-118W. I <br />advised Mr. Obernolte that nursery stock would be preferable to <br />seedlings along that berm in order to provide a better buffer zone <br />between the wetland and the operation of the bituminous plant. <br /> <br />No DNR permits will be required for the work as proposed.
