REQUEST FOR CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO SELL <br /> HANDCRAFTED ITEMS AND COLLECTIBLES FROM HOME; <br /> CASE 0F MS. MARY ELLEN WALSH <br />By: Community Development Director Anne Norris <br /> <br />CASE ~3: <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Ms. Mary Ellen Walsh is requesting a conditional use permit to sell <br />handcrafted items and collectibles from her home at 15800 Nowthen Blvd. <br />N.W. Ms. Walsh's property is located in the R-1R Rural Residential <br />District and is approximately 8.5 acres in size. Retail sales is not a <br />permitted use in any residential district. <br /> <br />For your information, the following items are enclosed: <br /> <br />a) Application <br />b) Site location map <br />c) Public hearing notice <br />d) Properties notified <br />e) Proposed findings of fact <br />f) Proposed conditional use permit <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />Section 170.015I of the City Code regarding home occupations states that <br />"...merchandise shall not be displayed or offered for sale, either within <br />or outside of the residence..."
