INFON/~ATION ITEMS <br /> <br />CASE #I1: <br /> <br />1. On May 12, 1987 the City Council approved the establishment of a Tax <br />Increment Financing District and Development District in the area of 167th <br />Avenue N.W. and State Hwy. #47. The City also agreed to participate in <br />certain site improvements for the 20,000 square foot commercial development <br />currently under construction on the south side of 167th Avenue N.W. <br /> <br />2. At its May 26, 1987 meeting, the City Council took the following <br />action: <br /> <br />Adopted a resolution authorizing the study of a right-of-way <br />acquisition plan for the intersection of Cty. Rd. #5 with State <br />Hwy. #47 and Cry. Rd. #116 and the extension of Dysprosium up to <br />Cty. Rd. #5. <br /> <br />Recommended that staff work to create a temporary railroad crossing <br />at the Northfork Design Center and temporarily close the Puma <br />Street railroad crossing, if necessary, to alleviate the truck <br />traffic resulting from the creation of the man-made lake in <br />Northfork. <br /> <br />Ce <br /> <br />Did not approve a conditional use permit requested by Duane and <br />Bonnie Lundeen to construct an addition for residential use in the <br />B-1 District. <br /> <br />Approved a request by John Goeb for a metes and bounds subdivision <br />with the park land dedication as recommended by the Park and <br />Recreation Co~ission. <br /> <br />e. Set a special meeting for Thursday, May 28 at 6:00 p.m. to discuss <br /> Mr. Menkveld's planned unit development proposal. <br /> <br />Approved a conditional use permit requested by Mr. Menkveld to <br />grade and excavate the 72 acres located south of 149th and west of <br />Ramsey Blvd. <br /> <br /> <br />
