CASE ~6:

REQUEST FOR METES AND BOUNDS SUBDXVISION;
CASE OF MB.. JOHN COEB
By: Anne Norris, Community Development Director

Background:

Mr. John Goeb is requesting a metes and bounds subdivision of a 30 acre parcel
west of County Road ~5, south of 173rd Avenue NW. Mr. Goeb is proposing to use
Trott Brook as a natural boundary for the subdivision and create one 22 acre
parcel and add the eight acres south of Trott Brook to the existing parcel
south of it.

Enclosed are the following items for your information:

a) Site location map
b) Proposed subdivision

Observations:

As you recall, Mr. Goeb appeared before the Commission on March 19 with this
request. The Commission requested that Mr. Goeb proceed with the minor
platting process. In addition, the Commission requested that the Park and
Recreation Commission review this.

The Park and Recreation Commission reviewed it and recommended that land be
acquired along Trott Brook for future trail development.

Mr. Goeb is now requesting metes and bounds subdivision because he would like
to combine the eight parcel piece with the rest of the property and just create
the 22 acre parcel.

Recommendation:

Commission action will be based on your discussion.

Review Checklist:

Administrator
Attorney
Engineer
Community Development Director

X

Chief of Police
Finance Officer
Public Works Superintendent
Other
