Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Discussion Begarding Information Fr~m City Engineer: <br /> <br />The Cx~m/ssion reviewed memor~ from City Engineer dated March 3, 1987 <br />regarding policy on drainage and temporary and permanent dead end and cul- <br /> <br />Ommmtssioner ]~endriksen inquired if the formula for calculating required <br />drainage area is based on the highest or average water ~_~ble. <br /> <br />Omm~issi~ers Deemer and Zi~meman replied that the formula is based on the <br />highest: known water ~-ahle. <br /> <br />Commissicoer Deemer stated that he doe~'t think it is neoessary to require <br />variances to cul-de-sac and dead end street lengths when they are temporary <br />in nature and provided to aoccmodate future development. Suggested that <br />the ordinance be amended to say that variances for temporary cul-de-sacs <br />are a given if it part of an approved plat amd intended to provide access <br />to future develolmmr~. Such an amendment would encourage developers to <br />carry their roads through to s~bsequent parcels. <br /> <br />MS.
