PROCEEDINGS OF CITY OOUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANCKA (I~3~ <br /> STATE OF MI]qNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a special meeting on Tuesday, February <br />10, 1987 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 No, then Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gary Reimann <br />Councilmember A1 Sorteberg <br />Councilmember Steve DeLuca <br />Councilmember A1 Pearson <br />Councilmember Arnie Cox (arrived 7:50 p.m.) <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator David Hartley <br />City Engineer Peter Raatikka <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann called the special Council meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and <br />led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGE~DA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to <br />approve the agenda with the following adjustments: <br /> <br />1. Mayor/Council Input - (a) Schedule a joint City Council/Planning <br /> and Zoning C~ssion meeting. <br /> <br />2. Case ~2 ('Heart Month") will be addressed prior to Case <br /> (Discuss Front Street H4 alignment). <br /> <br />3. Add Case %9 - Adopt Resolution Identifying Benefitting Property <br /> Owners In Street Improvements To Itasca Heights. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember COx. <br /> <br />CX]UN~ IL BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case %2.. .proclaim February_ As ']~eart Month': <br /> <br />Anoka County Commissioner Haas (President of the local chapter of the <br />American Heart Association) was present and stated that Anoka County has <br />proclaimed February as "Heart Month" and requested that Ramsey do the same. <br />Ms. ~aas stated that most people have been touched in some way by heart <br /> Sp Council/February 10, 1987 <br /> <br />Page 2 of 10 <br /> <br /> <br />
