Costs <br />to not include shipp~r.,g and installation. Counci! members indicated <br />no preference and would leave the decission to the Lions Club. <br /> <br />Claudia Dodge mention the Playground Committee at Ramsey <br />Elernentary School would be meeting with a representative of the <br />Lions Club <br /> <br />CASE '4' Discussion regarding site plan for River's Bend Park. <br />Merhnd Otto presented the Park Plan for the R~ver's Bend Park. <br />Estimated cost of four tennis courts is $60,000 plus $10,000 for chain <br />link., ~encin8. <br /> <br />Park Board members asked how Ramsey was rated in the application <br />Ior LAWCON funds Anne Norris indicated the rating was close, and <br />they would have had more pomts if they had submitted letters of <br />cornm:trr, ent from area clubs. More points would also have been <br />awarded for a more comprehensive park, possibly using ball he!ds <br />for hockey rinks. Norris indicated they can get matching funds for <br />River's Bend Park but not Central Park because of the location. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Johnson, seconded by Cornmisioner Lokker, <br />to apply again ~or a LAWCON grant.
