Mr. Deemer denied that he took it upon himself to act as Building Official; <br />inquired as to why Coun¢ilmember Cox tabled this case when it was brought to <br />council in December. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox stated that he feels all commission appointments and <br />reappointments should be delayed until after the first of the year which would <br />give the Council that will be working with that cc~mission the opportunity to <br />have some say in the oompositton of the (x~ssions. Councilmember Cox stated <br />that if Mr. Deemer's reappointment would have been up for discussion two years <br />ago, he would have voted no at that time. <br /> <br />b) Rea__ppoint David Cha_rmmm~_ and Dennis Donovan to the Airport Commission to <br /> serve three year terms to expire December 31. 1989 - <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to <br />reappoint David Chapman to the Airport Commission to serve a three year term to <br />expire December 31, 1989. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
