Anne Norris, Cc~unity Devel~t Direc~cor <br /> <br />~c~ro~d: <br /> <br />As you recall, Mr. Art Raudio discussed with the Commission his proposal for a <br />planned unit development south of 149th Avenue N.W. and west of Cty. Rd. #56 <br />for residential devel~t with home occupations. The Planning Commission <br />endorsed this concept and Mr. Raudio took this idea to the City Council. The <br />City Council requested Mr. Paudio to return with additional information such as <br />a site plan and proposed covenants. Mr. Raudio has drafted covenants and a <br />site plan and would like to review these with the Planning Commission. <br /> <br />Enclosed for your information are the follc~ing items: <br /> <br />a) Site location map <br />b) Proposed site plan <br />c) Proposed covenants and restrictions for the develolm~-nt <br /> <br />~se~atio~: <br /> <br />The Council expressed concerns regarding controls in such a development <br />regarding noise, hours of operation of the businesses, types of businesses <br />permitted, number of ~ployees, taxing, signage, access, screening, etc. <br /> <br />At your last meeting, the Commission briefly reviewed the proposed covenants <br />for Mr. Raudio's proposal and noted that the Commission would review the <br />proposal more thoroughly at the January 20 meeting. <br /> <br />Recommen~tion: <br /> <br />Commission Action: <br /> <br />Will be based on your discussion. <br /> <br />l%eview Checklist: <br /> <br />Administrator <br />Attorney <br />Engineer <br />Community Development Director <br /> <br />X <br /> <br />Chief of Police <br />Finance Officer <br />Public Works Superintendent <br />Other <br /> <br /> <br />
