Report On December 3. 1986 Meeting With Residents Reaardin_~ <br />Front Street NW and Rivlvn Avenue N~ Second Access: <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich stated that he attended the December 3rd meetin~ on behalf of the <br />City. The attendanoe at that meeting was poor and there appears to be a real <br />need to update the mailing list as to current property owners and addresses. <br />Those property owners that were present recognize that there is a traffic and <br />access problem but are not interested in doing anything about it at this time. <br />Mr. Goodrich r~d that the city prepare more detailed proposals for <br />possible frontage road and access alignments with respect to existing buildings <br />in the area; update the mailing list of property (~ners in the area; schedule <br />another meeting with sufficient notice for property ~wners to make plans to <br />attend. <br /> <br />Council a~reed to Mr. Goodrich' s reoommendations. <br /> <br />For Metes And Bounds Subdivision: Case Of Mr. Joel <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich stated that Planning and Zoning recommends approval of Mr. <br />Th~msen's request for a metes and bounds subdivision of his 16 acre parcel <br />with ~ne access onto Cry. Rd. %5. The Park and Recreation Commission has not <br />rewiewed the request to determine park dedication requirements. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmmmber Sorteberg to approve, <br />based on Planning and Zoning's recommendation and oontin~ upon review by the <br />Park and Recreation Commission, Mr. Joel Thomsen's request for a metes and <br />bounds subdivision of his 16 acre paroel located on the east side of County Rd. <br />%5, north of 167th Avenue N~, with one access onto Cry. Rd. %5. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilm~-mhers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Schlueter and DeLuoa. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case %3.. Bequ_ es~ For.Site Plan Review; Case of Mr. Michael Powers: <br /> <br />Mr. Powers was present. <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich stated that Planning and Zoning rec~...~nds approval of Mr. Powers' <br />site plan contingent upon the driveway being surfaced within one year of <br />iss,~nce of certificate of occupancy. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilm~ber Cox and seconded by Councilmember DeLuca to approve, <br />based on Planning and Zoning's recommendation, Mr. Powers' site plan for <br />construction of a storage building in the I-1 Industrial District in the HY-10 <br />Pamsey plat contingent upon the driveway being surfaced with blacktop or <br />concrete within o~e year of issuance of certificate of occupancy. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Council had no preference as to point of access of <br />driveway.
