Councilmember DeLuca stated that he, Comacilmmber Schlueter and Mr. tiartley <br />were present for the Precinct 1, 2 and 3 meeting held on Deoember 81 no <br />citizens attended. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg <br />directing the Charter Commission to review the necessity for that charter <br />requirement calling for precinct meetings. <br /> <br />Further Discussion.. Councilmember DeLuca stated that in view of the poor <br />citizen response, precinct meetings are a waste of time and money; every <br />oouncil/co~ssion meeting has 'citizen input' time set aside for the p~ltc to <br /> <br />express their conoerns. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, COx, <br /> <br />b) Change Order To Project %86-191; Municipal Well No. 2 - <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka stated that there are sand clear up problems with Municipal Well <br />No. 2 and he reoe~ installation of an electrical p~. Installation would <br />be $450; video of cavities is $1000; 150 hours of testing at $10/hour ($1500). <br /> <br />Motion by Councilm~mber Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmmmber COx authorizing <br />Changer Order %2 for Improvement Project %86-16 (Municipal Well No. 2) for an <br />additional $2950.00 for electrical pu~p installation, video of cavities, and <br />150 hours of testing to resolve sand problems. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
