ORDINANCE #O4-23 CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY STATE OF MINNESOTA AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 9 OF THE CITY CODE, WHICH CHAPTER IS KNOWN AS THE ZONING AND SUBDIVI- SION OF LAND CHAPTER OF THE CITY CODE. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SEC- TIONS 9.11.01 OF CITY CODE CREATING A VISION CLEARANCE TRIANGLE AT INTERSECTIONS WITHIN CITY STREETS. The City of Ramsey ordains: SECTION I AUTHORITY This ordinance is adopted pursuant to and under the authority of the charter of the City of Ramsey. SECTION 2. SUMMARY OF ORD!: NANCE This ordinance establishes triangular area adjacent to the intersection of city streets, alleys and commercial driveways which shall be subject to certain restric- tions to enhance the visibility and safety for traffic. The ordinance identifies the type of elements which are allowed or prohibited within the triangle and restricts parking along curb lines lying within the triangle area. Provisions are included in the ordinance which provide for exceptions and waivers of its provi- sions by the City Engineer. Tile Public Works Committee shall render the final decision on appeals regarding waivers and exemptions. SECTION 3. EFFECTIVE DATF Tile effective date o1' this Ordinance is thirty (30) days after its passage and pub- lication, subject to City Charter Section 5.07.
