Assistant Community Development Director Trudgeon replied if the property cannot be acquired <br />the developer will have to complete everything on their property. <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman inquired about the Met Council's involvement. <br /> <br />Assistant Community Development Director Trudgeon replied this has been approved by the Met <br />Cotmcil. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Cook, Elvig, Kurak, Pearson, <br />Strommen, and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Councilmember Elvig stated he appreciates when developers do custom <br />grading, saving this many trees on a project. <br /> <br />Case #19: Request for Vacation of Easements; Case of Oakwood Land Development, <br /> Inc. <br />Assistant Community Development Director Trudgeon explained the property being platted as <br />Alpine Woods includes underlying drainage and utility easements that were platted as part of <br />High Point 2''d Addition subdivision, specifically Lot 2, Block 1. The other five lots that will be <br />a part of Alpine Woods do not contain any drainage and utility easements. The Alpine Woods <br />development will contain new drainage and utility easements around all common areas, drainage <br />ponds, public utilities, and wetlands. The easement vacation ordinance was introduced at the <br />May 25, 2004 meeting and is now ready for adoption. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Cook, to adopt Ordinance #04- <br />27 to vacate certain drainage and utility easements on Lot 2, Block 1 High Point 2nd Addition. <br /> <br />A roll call vote was performed by the Recording Secretary: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamcc: aye <br />Councihnember Cook: aye <br />Councihnember Elvig: aye <br />Councihnember Kurak: aye <br />Councihnember Pearson: aye <br />Councilmember Strommen: aye <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman: aye <br /> <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Case #20: Introduction of an Ordinance Authorizing the Sale of That Part of Lots 2, <br /> aud 2A, Block 1, West Radium Business Center First Addition, Anoka <br /> Couuty, Minnesota, Lying Northerly of the Southerly 167.00 Feet Thereof <br />City Attorney Goodrich advised the City is in the process of drafting a TIF agreement with <br />Huntington Family Properties, LLC.
