Administrator Hartley asked the Council if they had any changes in the priority listing. Mayor Riemann stated he fully supported Councilman DeLuca's suggestion. Councilman Cox agreed and said he felt Councilman DeLuca has a full understanding of the Council's feelings. Administrator Hartley stated it would make Councilman DeLuca more effective in working with the task force if he can make these statements and not have to come back and pole the Council on each item that comes up. Councilman Cox asked that Councilman DeLuca come back for Council input on items that require an expenditure of funds. Councilman Cox said the Council had previously made the statement that they would not entertain any type of solid waste facility but perhaps they should review that and clarify that they would look at something if it would benefit the community as well as reduce the flow into the landfill. Administrator Hartley said he would put this on the next agenda. Case ~4: Resignation of Daryl .Saathoff Motion by Councilman Sorteberg, seconded by Councilman DeLuca, to accept the resignation of Daryl Saathoff effective October 30, 1987. Mayor Reimann said he was sorry to see Mr. Saathoff leave. Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Cox, DeLuca, Pearson and Sorteberg. Voting no: None. Absent: None. Case ~5: Recuest by R~msey Lions Club to Waive 30 day Com~e,~= Period Administrator Hart!ey explained the Lions ~_um has applied for a ~amb!ing license for the Super Bowl and are asking the Council to waive the 30 day co~ment period.
