noted that the Council could then meet to delegate emergency funding for items such as debris
removal.
2.03: Review City Attorney's Attendance at Council Meetings
City Administrator Ulrich reviewed the staff report. He noted that during the past six months the
City has saved $5,000 on the new plan which does not require the City Attorney to attend
Council meetings unless requested. He stated that if the Council would like the City Attorney to
attend an upcoming meeting for something specific on the agenda they can alert him.
Councilmember Kuzma stated that he was against this to begin with but does agree that this
seems to be working well and saving the City money as well and therefore would support
continuing in this manner.
Mayor Strommen agreed that this is efficient use of the City Attorney's time.
3. TOPICS FOR FUTURE DISCUSSION
3.01: Review Future Topics/ Calendar
Councilmember Williams stated that she encountered residents that live north of the old
municipal center that were requesting a park at that location. She stated that perhaps it would be
good to revisit the discussion to focus on regional parks.
Mayor Strommen noted that the residents reached out to multiple Councilmembers and agreed
that would be a good topic to revisit.
Councilmember Shryock stated that perhaps that would be a good topic for a joint meeting with
the Park Commission.
City Administrator Ulrich agreed that would be a great topic for a joint meeting with the Park
Commission.
4.
