<br />Councilmember LeTourneau introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #16-06-110 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PERMANENT TRAIL EASEMENT AGREEMENT ON <br />OUTLOTS B AND D, NORTHFORK MOORS ADDITION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />the City finds it in the public interest to maintain public pedestrian trail <br />connections through Outlots B and D, Northfork Moors Addition, to serve the needs of City <br />residents (the “Northfork Trail System Connections”); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />the City agrees to acquire the easements necessary to maintain the <br />Northfork Trail System Connections as described in the legal descriptions included in the <br />Exhibit A <br />easement agreement in (the “Permanent Easements”); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />the City declares that it is in the public interest to acquire the Permanent <br />Easements above described. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That in order to carry out the purposes and objectives described above it is necessary to <br />acquire the Permanent Easement. <br /> <br />2) That the City Administrator is hereby directed to acquire the Permanent Easement as <br />described above in accordance with Minnesota Statutes. <br /> <br />3) That the City Administrator is authorized to negotiate and represent the City of Ramsey <br />in all proceedings. <br /> <br />The motion of the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Kuzma, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Strommen <br /> Councilmember LeTourneau <br /> Councilmember Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Johns <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Shryock <br /> Councilmember Williams <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
