REQUEST FOR VARIANCE FROM SECTION 170.015G OF THE CITY CODE TO <br /> CONSTRUCT A GARAGE NEARER FRONT LOT LINE THAN THE PRINCIPAL <br /> STRUCTURE; CASE OF MICHAEL AND HELEN McCURRY <br /> By: Community Development Director Anne Norris <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Mr. and Mrs. McCurry are proposing to construct a new 40' x 40' garage on <br />their property at 9501 Ermine Boulevard N.W. Mr. and Mrs. McCurry are <br />requesting a variance from Section 170.015G of the City Code in order to <br />construct the garage nearer the front lot line than the house on the lot. <br />The garage is proposed to be located between the house and Ermine Blvd. <br />The McCurrys have stated that this is the only flat,dry area on the lot <br />where they can construct the garage. The McCurrys are also proposing to <br />convert their existing attached garage into additional living space.
