Councilmember Johns introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #16-08-139 RESOLUTION ORDERING FEASIBILITY REPORT FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #17-00 ALPINE DRIVE AND SUNWOOD DRIVE RECONSTRUCTIONS WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to reconstruct Alpine Drive between Armstrong Boulevard/CSAH 83 and Variolite Street, and to assess benefitted properties for all or a portion of the cost of the improvements, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429; and WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey proposes to reconstruct all or a portion of Sunwood Drive between Ramsey Boulevard/CSAH 56 and Bunker Lake Boulevard/CR 116, and to assess benefitted properties for all or a portion of the cost of the improvements, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the proposed improvements, designated as Improvement Project No. 17-00, be referred to the City Engineer for study and that the City Engineer is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvements are necessary, cost-effective, and feasible; whether they should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with some other improvement; the estimated cost of the improvements as recommended; and a description of the methodology used to calculate individual assessments for benefitted properties. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Williams, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Strommen Councilmember Johns Councilmember Williams Councilmember Shryock Councilmember Kuzma and the following voted against the same: None and the following abstained: None and the following were absent:
