GARNETT PETTERSEN <br />Community Development Director Anne Norris <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Mr. Garnett Pettersen is proposing to construct a home on his parcel of <br />land on the west side of Ramsey Blvd. Due to soil limitations, Mr. <br />Pettersen is proposing to construct the home approximately 70 feet from the <br />centerline of Cry. Rd. #56. Sections 170.015F and 170.016A require the <br />setback from the centerline of thoroughfares.to be at least 110 feet. Mr. <br />Pettersen is requesting a variance of approximately 40 feet to encroach on <br />this required setback. <br /> <br />For your information, the following items are enclosed: <br /> <br />a) Application <br />b) Site location map <br />c) Public hearing notice <br />d) Properties notified <br /> e) Proposed findings of fact <br /> f) Proposed variance <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />Mr. Pettersen's lot was created by subdivision created by the construction <br />of Ramsey Blvd. Due to soil limitations on the property, the on-site <br />septic system will be constructed as a mound system. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Board of Adjustment Action: <br /> <br />Motion to: <br />Adopt Findings of Fact <br />request for a variance. <br /> <br />relating to Mr. Garnett Pettersen's <br /> <br />-and- <br /> <br />Motion to: <br />Approve/deny Mr. Garnett Pettersen's request for a variance from <br />Sections 170.015F and 170.016A of the City Code. <br /> <br />Review Checklist: <br /> <br />Administrator <br />Attorney <br />Engineer <br />Community Development Director <br /> <br /> Chief of Police <br /> Finance Officer <br /> Public Works Superintendent <br />X Building Official X~ <br /> <br /> <br />
