CASE #2: <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR VARIANCE FROM SECTIONS 170.015F AND 170.016A <br /> OF THE CITY CODE REGARDING SETBACK FROM THOROUGHFARES; <br /> CASE OF MR. RANDY TRIEMERT <br /> By: Community Development Director Anne Norris <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Mr. Randy Triemert is requesting a variance to reconstruct his home at <br />17350 St. Francis Blvd. N.W. Mr. Triemert's home was located on this <br />property and was partially destroyed by fire. Mr. Triemert is proposing to <br />reconstruct his home in the same place as the original house. The proposed <br />house is located approximately 93 feet from the centerline of St. Francis <br />Blvd. Sections 170.015F and 170.016A require the setback from the <br />centerline of thoroughfares to be at least 110 feet. Mr. Triemert is <br />requesting a variance of approximately 17 feet to encroach on this setback. <br />As the original structure did not comply with this setback, the house was a <br />'grandfathered' non-conforming use at the time of the fire.
