Norris, C~mmity Develol~nt Director

As you recall, at the February 18 Commission meeting you reviewed two
alternate alignments for extending utilities to the City's
commercial/industrial area. The Commission reco~d that City Council
proceed with the lahased extension of these utilities to the industrial
area. The proposed sewer trunk would be parallel with the railroad tracks
and would cross the railroad tracks and Highway 10 at Sunfish Lake
Boulevard. The proposed water main would be extended along County Road 116
to Sunfish Lake Boulevard.

Based on the Economic DeveloIx~ent Commission's recommendation, the City
Council ordered a feasibility report for these alternatives and also
requested that the utilities be extended west towards the Schwartzman
property on the south side of Hwy. %10. City Council also requested that
staff review financial projections for tax increment revenues to pay for
these improvements.

Review Checklist:

Administrator X
Attorney X
Engineer X
Ommmmity Development Director X

Chief of Police
Finance Officer
Public Works Superintendent
Other
