Mr. Berg of Northern PAR Develounent Company was present and stated that <br />providea there is not a vandali~ probl~, the intent is to keep the car <br />wash open 24 hours a day with an attendant on duty during peak business <br />hours. There should not be a noise probl~ as the doors to the bays will <br />be shut during use of the bays. <br /> <br />Councilmamber Cox stated that he doesn't foresee a noise probl~ and if one <br />should develop, it will have to be dealt with at that time. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Pearson and seconded by Councilmember Cox to <br />approve of Northern PAR Development C~npany's request for site plan review <br />for a car wash on Lot 3, Block 1, River's Bend Plaza contingent upon the <br />applicant agreeing to conditions specified in the develofment permit. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Mr. Goodrich stated that the car wash develo~ent is <br />contingent upon final approval of River's Bend Plaza P.U.D. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilm~mbers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Request For Conditional Use Permit To Construct And _Operate <br /> Office/Retail/Manufacturinq Business In B-1 Business District <br /> And Regu_ est For Site Plan Review; Case Of Construction <br /> Consultants For Blue Max. Inc.: <br /> <br />Mr. f~arles Christian of Construction Consultants and Mr. Kytonen of Blue <br />Max were present. <br /> <br />Ms. Norris stated that this portion of Alpaca Estates is zoned for business <br />and manufacturing would not be a permitted use. Council approved a <br />conditional use permit for manufacturing in this same area for Sleep Easy <br />Mattress Company. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to <br />adopt Findings of Fact 0155 relating to Construction Consultants' request <br />for Blue Max, Inc. for a conditional use permit. (Please refer to findings <br />of fact file for Findings of Fact 0155). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilm~mbers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to <br />approve of Construction Consultants' request for a conditional use permit <br />for Blue Max, Inc. to construct and operate a manufacturing facility in the <br />B-1 Business District. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Councilmember DeLuca referred to Item #3 of the <br />conditional use permit agreement and inquired if 'no outside storage of <br />materials or inventory' eliminates any Possibility of Blue Max being able <br />to display their products outside of the building.
