Review Of Liquor License Requ_ ir~ts: <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Pearson and seconded by Councilmsmber Cox directing <br />city staff to advertise for persons to serve on an Ad Hoc Liquor Commission <br />to review the adequacy of the City's existing Liquor License Ordinance and <br />recommend any mnencl~ents determined to be necessary. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Councilmsnber COx suggested that mambers of a previous <br />Ad Hoc Liquor C~ssion be contacted to serve again. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reinmnn, Councilmembers Sorteberg, COx, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />MAYOR AND COUNCIL INPUT <br /> <br />a. Establishment Of An Ad Hoc Fire Department Committee - <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilmsnber DeLuca directing <br />city staff to prepare a resolution for council adoption that would <br />establish an Ad Hoc Fire Department Co,tree in Ramsey and to proceed to <br />advertise for persons to serve on that oommittee. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmsmbers Sorteberg, COx, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />b. Affluent Sewage Pump System For Ramsey Municipal Center - <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka reported that sewage system at City Hall is only <br />operating on one pump and the system needs improving. The City has <br />received a quote frcm Tri-State Drilling for a duplex pump system with <br />alternating controls. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilm~ber Sorteberg and seconded by Councilmember Pearson <br />authorizing the purchase and installation of a duplex affluent sewage pump <br />system frem Tri-State Drilling in the remount of $2,167.00. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, <br />DeLuca and Pearson. Voting 'No: None. Absent: Councilmember Cox was <br />temporarily out of Council Chambers. <br /> <br />c) Probl~ns With Copying Machine At Ramsey City Offices - <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich noted that staff is having probl~ns with the Xerox machine and <br />is attempting to be released from the contract. Staff is researching <br />features and rates of other copying machines. <br /> <br />d) Rediscussion Of Minor Subdivision For Oake Barthold - <br /> <br />Ms. Norris stated that Mr. Barthold has redrawn his request for a <br />subdivision that would result in both parcels having 200' of frontage on <br />Hwy. ~47 with a common access. Ms. Norris recommended that if Council <br />is agreeable to this subdivision request, they might want to require an <br />easement for future roadway. <br /> <br />Page 20 of 21 <br /> <br /> <br />
