infomaed them the City cannot force them to hook up. This issue has to go up the ladder from
their staff to state staff to national staff, and it does not now sound as though they have the desire
to sell it.

Catholic ChUrch

Councilmember Cook stated information is needed regarding the Catholic Church. It has been
stated that a church will be coming to the City, but the Council does not have any information
regarding this.

Mayor Gamec replied he will be having a meeting with the church on June 8th and will update the
Council.

Councihnember Strommen inquired if staff has any ideas of where they would like to see the
church.

City Administrator Norman commented a church of this size would want visibility from
Highway 10. There is a church in the City that owns property that they do not have the money to
build on next to Diamonds Sports Bar. He thought they may be able to do a three way trade
between tlzis church, the site where the Lord of Life church started, and the private secretarial
service that is outgrowing their site and will likely be moving.

ADJOURNMENT

Motion by Councilmember Cook, seconded by Councilmember Strommen, to adjourn the
meeting.

Motion carried.

The City Council Work Session of the City Council adjourned at 7:35 p.m.

Respectfully submitted,

Carol Hamer
Recording Secretary
TimeSaver Off Site Secretarial, Inc.

James E.
