'~ <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Ed Hamilton - 6615 Highway #10 N.W. - Presented copies of a letter <br />(Attachment A to these minutes) from he and Lora Hamilton and ~inslow and <br />Corrine Holasek to City Council dated November 24, 1987 regarding <br />right-of-way for MSA road south of Hwy. ~10. Mr. Hamilton proceeded to <br />read the letter aloud. Mr. Hamilton then presented Council with copies of <br />a letter to them from Winslow Holasek dated November 24, 1987 (Attachment B <br />to these minutes). <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann stated that he has been approached by the public regarding <br />the Council's intent to disband the police department and has been informed <br />that there is a petition being circulating to stop such action. Mayor <br />Reimann stated that he his reply to these comments is that the City has <br />taken no official action to disband the police department. <br /> <br />Councilmember Pearson stated that he has also received comments from the <br />public regarding disbanding the police department. Councilmember Pearson <br />stated that his reply has been that he knows of action being taken to <br />disband the police department and ~he public can verify this information <br />by calling City Hall. <br /> <br />Councilmember DeLuca stated that he has also received comments from the <br />public regarding disbanding the police department. <br /> <br />City Council/November 24, 1987 <br /> <br />Page 3 of 16 <br /> <br /> <br />
