Councilmember DeLuca stated that he, Gouncilmember Schlueter and Mr. Hartley <br />were present for the Precinct 1, 2 and 3 meeting held on December 8; no <br />citizens attended. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Sortebe.rg <br />directing the Charter Commission to review the necessity for that charter <br />requirement calling for precinct meetings. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Councilmember DeLuca stated that in view of the poor <br />citizen response, precinct meetings are a waste of time and money; every <br />council/commission meeting has 'citizen input' time set aside for the public to <br />expresstheir concerns. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Schlueter and DeLuca. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />b) Change Order To Project #86-191; Municipal Well No. 2 - <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka stated that there are sand clear up problems with Municipal Well <br />No. 2 and he recommends installation of an electrical pump. Installation would <br />be $450; video of cavities is $1000; 150 hours of testing at $10/hour ($1500). <br /> <br />Motion by Councilm~mber Sorteberg and seconded by Councilm~mber Cox authorizing <br />Changer Order 92 for Improvement Project #86-16 (Municipal Well No. 2) for an <br />additional $2950.00 for electrical pu~p installation, video of cavities, and <br />150 hours of testing to resolve sand problems. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers $orteberg, Cox, <br />Schlueter and DeLuca. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Councilm~mber Sorteberg to adjourn <br />the regular Council meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers $orteberg, COx, <br />Schlueter and DeLuca.
