CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a City Council Work Session on Tuesday, July 12, 2016, at <br />the Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br />Members Present: <br />Also Present: <br />Mayor Sarah Strommen <br />Councilmember Jill Johns <br />Councilmember Mark Kuzma <br />Councilmember John LeTourneau <br />Councilmember Chris Riley <br />Councilmember Melody Shryock <br />Councilmember Kristine Williams <br />Parks and Assistant Public Works Superintendent Mark Riverblood <br />Community Development Director Timothy Gladhill <br />City Engineer Bruce Westby <br />City Planner Chris Anderson <br />Planning Commission <br />Members Present: Vice Chair Randy Bauer <br />Commissioner Ralph Brauer <br />Commissioner Gary Van Scoy <br />Commissioner Andrew Andrusko <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Strommen called the City Council Work Session to order at 5:35 p.m. She noted that this <br />is a joint session with the City Council and Planning Commission and thanked the Planning <br />Commissioners present for attending tonight. <br />2. TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br />2.01: Review Findings of The COR Development Plan Policy Maker Survey <br />Community Development Director Gladhill reviewed the staff report. <br />Councilmember Kuzma asked if the housing goal for The COR had been reached and if not, <br />what is left. <br />Community Development Director Gladhill stated that the goal was 2,000 housing units, <br />estimating that the City is about half way there. He stated that there is opportunity available in <br />all ranges of density products. He continued to review the staff report, it was noted that <br />questions should be held until the presentation is completed. <br />City Council Work Session / July 12, 2016 <br />Page 1 of 8 <br />
