Employment in office-inclined industries was steady between 2002 <br /> and 2005 when employment peaked at 646 and then declined to 529 employees in 2010. <br /> Assuming 250 square feet per employee, demand for office space would have been about <br /> 118,000 square feet in 2002 increasing to about 161,500 square feet in 2005, before declining to <br /> 132,250 square feet in 2010, a decline of over 18.1 percent. <br /> POPULATION AND HOUSEHOLDS <br /> The MSA added over 311,000 persons between 2000 and 2010, an annual growth rate of 1.0 <br /> percent, as shown in Table 3-7. Anoka County grew at the same annual growth rate as the MSA <br /> (1.0 percent), adding 32,760 persons or 10.5 percent of total MSA growth. Sherburne County <br /> grew by 24,082 people in the past decade, which is an annual rate of increase of 3.2 percent. <br /> 3-8 <br />
