I don't know
what happens other days but on Tuesday and Thursday morning as many as 30 senior tennis players
faithful appear to use them. We rotate in and out so all can play but we really feel the loss of one court.
Loose pieces make the court a hazard so you rightfully removed the net from the worst court, crowding
us to the three remaining court or to disperse seeking other places. We hope you will approve
resurfacing.
Please note that the court which is damaged is the one that gets the most standing water from
overspray of the park sprinkler system. Please reset the direction of spray so the new surface will get a
better chance of holding up well. Courts should crack first where water drips from the net after rain but
this area does not cause problems since we are not running where the net is.
We appreciate that park activity is a high priority of the city of Ramsey.
Susan Rasmussen, rasmus g s@msn.com
12128 Mississippi Drive
Champlin MN
