He stated that the total budget of $34,859 <br />reflects an increase of $6,000 (although the actual appropriation is $8,452) <br />over and abovewhat was requested last year. The increase reflects additional <br />20 hours to be split between Ramsey and Sandburg. It includes both Ramsey <br />Conmunity School at full-time and 75% of the cost of the Sandburg operation <br />which includes the addition of a Key C~L~anicator Project. <br /> <br />Mr. Graczyk reviewed Handout F regarding the 1988Budget Request for Econcmaic <br />Developnent Activities. He stated that ~ne EEC is requesting that the Council <br />allocate the re2nainder of the unused $50,000 allocation for 1987 economic <br />development activities for economic development activities in 1988. In <br />addition, the EDC is requ_esuing that funds be allocated for contracted personal <br />services for econc~ic deve!opm~nt activities in !988. <br /> <br />At this time, attention was focused on uhe n~forp=_rsomnel to evaluate <br />maintain a City water ~aa!ity program. Mr. Hart!ey noted the need for <br />personnel, either contracte~ or~_~.~ o~ C~, uo ~-onitor variousc~y <br />uuilities ~nd in paruic~iar the City's waUer systems. ~.
