Mayor Reimann felt the City would benefit from this operation so <br />he was in favor of granting the request. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox, £~.:.~conded by Councilman Sorteberg, to <br />waive the 30 day comment period on the gambling license <br />application by the Lions Club 'at the Super Bowl. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: <br />DeLuca, Pearson and Sorteberg. <br />None. <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Cox, <br /> Voting no: None. Absent: <br /> <br />Case %6: Appointment to Ramsey Landfill Committee <br /> <br />Administrator Hartley explained the Landfill Committee has <br />interviewed Dick Swanson and is recommending to the Council they <br />appoint him. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Sorteberg, seconded by Councilman Pearson , <br />to appoint Dick Swanson, 6912 - 156th Avenue N.W., to fill one of <br />the vacancies on the Ramsey Landfill Committee. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Cox, <br />DeLuca, Pearson and Sorteberg. Voting no: None. Absent: None. <br /> <br />Case %7: Update on Puma Street Railroad Crossing <br /> <br />Administrator Hartley informed the Council of the difficulty he <br />had with Mr. Gerald Rehbein and his trucks using Puma Street as a <br />haul route even after he was told to stop. <br /> <br />Administrator Hartley explained that several loads of class 5 had <br />to be brought in to repair the railroad crossing after only <br />several hours of use by ~h._ trucks ~¢~ Rehbein had been told h~ <br />would have to use the d=to~ as des~ -~= * = <br /> .... ~n~_d by ~h~ County and cn!y <br />those ~oads <br /> <br />Administrator Hartiey stated that after contacting ~:r.
