}layor Reimann called the meeting back to order at 9:14 p.m. <br /> <br />KAYOR ;~ND COUNCIL INPUT <br /> <br />a) Review of Ham Lake resolution regarding liability for land use <br /> regulations - <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox stated that there, is a Supreme Court ruling that states <br />agencies are liable for imposing land use regulations that prohibit maximum <br />use of property. Councilmember Cox stated that }lam Lake has adopted a <br />resolution requesting legislati~' that would indemnify local units of <br />government from the liability that might occur as a result of land use <br />regulations imposed by higher agencies. Councilmember Cox stated that t{am <br />Lake is requesting Ramsey's support of the resolution. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Cox directing the <br />City Attorney to review Ham Lake's re~olution regarding indemnification <br />from liability and report back to Council . <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Coz, <br />DeLuca and Pearson.
